As the sun begins it's decent into the ocean, torch lighting signals the nightly ritual of Lele Kawa (cliff diving). Legend tells us that the chief of Maui (Thunderer), was provided his spiritual strength by leaping from the sacred Pu'u Keka'a to the Pacific.
