#29 of 365 Winter Bubbles

Minus 16C, no wind, home just before sunset = another attempt at frozen bubbles.
Still not what I am trying for but pretty none the less.
Taken in the front yard.
:)

Thinking it is time to play with the bubble formula. I need a very strong bubble that will not disintegrate when frozen but will break apart in chunks on impact so I can photograph the unique edges.
If you have any recipes my dear followers, please, do let me know.

  1. The recipe I've used back in the day was: mix one part dishwashing liquid (Joy or Dawn works best, NOT dishwasher detergent) to ten parts warm water. Adding too much soap can cause shorter-lived bubbles. You may add 1/4 cup liquid glycerine for longer-lasting, stronger and more colorful bubbles.

  2. Oh thank you Irene. My recipe had too much soap I think and used corn syrup. I will adjust and try this.
